Edifício Corporate Plaza, located in São Paulo, is certified in the LEED EB&OM Silver category
A pioneer in sustainable development of corporate buildings, São Carlos Empreendimentos, one of the main companies in the sector of investment and administration of commercial properties in Brazil, received its third certification by the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED®) in the category “Existing Building – one of the most important international seals focused on environmental guidance and certification for buildings adopted in 143 countries.
São Carlos Empreendimentos made several improvements in the building located at Rua Alexandre Dumas, 2.100 in Chácara Santo Antônio, a neighborhood of São Paulo. Among the changes made to the building are the renovation of the indoor air system, ensuring the quality of the air inside the project – exchanging with outside air, controlling CO2 levels; the general maintenance of infiltrations and air-conditioner efficiency; selective collection by the condominium; and the use of mugs, focusing on reducing plastic consumption.

São Carlos Empreendimentos has already been recognized in the LEED E&B Silver category for the Rio Negro Administrative Center, located in Barueri (São Paulo) and City Tower, in Rio de Janeiro – considered the first multi-user building in the capital of Rio de Janeiro to receive the Existing Building (E&B) Gold seal.
